Majene – Lima Sidik. Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri (STAIN) Majene mengadakan Visiting Lectures dan penandatanganan MoU SIGNING yang merupakan bentuk kerjasama Internasional Collaboration in Research and Academic Activities secara akademik dengan Universitas yang ada di Iran di Auditorium Gedung Terpadu pada Selasa, (26/03/2024).
Mendatangkan pembicara Internasional dari salah satu Universitas Iran yakni The Internasional Instutute For Islamic Studies, Dr. Ghasem Muhammadi.
Tujuan dari kegiatan ini disamping untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan pengembangan STAIN Majene juga untuk mempercepat alih status ke IAIN.
“Kuliah Tamu ini merupakan bagian dari upaya Pimpinan untuk alih status dari STAIN ke IAIN,” ujar Panitia Penyelenggara Kegiatan, Wahyuddin.
Ketua STAIN Majene, Prof. Dr. Hj. Wasilah Sahabuddin, S.T., M.T., mengungkapkan harapannya saat di wawancarai Lima Sidik.
“Semoga dengan adanya kerjasama Internasional ini bisa menambah kerjasama internasional di negara-negara lain,” tutupnya.
