Majene – Lima Sidik. UKM Pers Lima Sidik kembali melaksanakan kegiatan pendidikan dan pelatihan (Diklat) jurnalistik dengan tema “Menjadi Jurnalis yang Cakap dan Bermartabat” di Gedung Perpustakaan Lantai Dua STAIN Majene. Pada jumat (14/10) hingga minggu (16/10).
Diklat Jurnalistik merupakan kegiatan reguler UKM Pers Lima Sidik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penyajian berita anggota UKM.
Dalam Diklat ini turut hadir Ketua Jurusan Tarbiyah dan Keguruan Dr. Hamzah S. Fathani, S.Ag., M.Th.I. sekaligus membuka acara dan dalam sambutannya tak lupa beliau mengingatkan berita harus ideal, beretika, dan menarik.
“berita yang dimuat dapat menambah pengetahuan pembaca, memberikan motivasi, memberikan semangat kompetisi, tidak basi dan dibutuhkan”, ujarnya.
Hadir pula pembina UKM Lima Sidik Nirwan Wahyudi AR, M.Sos. Dalam sambutannya, Pembina UKM Lima Sidik mengatakan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bukan hanya sebagai penggugur kewajiban dan hanya sekedar menjalankan program kerja. Namun untuk meningkatkan kualitas agar Lima Sidik terus berada pada grafik yang baik.
“Semoga setelah kegiatan ini kita bisa melakukan evaluasi dan kami harap lima sidik terus membaik agar UKM ini bisa di wariskan kepada generasi selanjutnya”, harapnya.

” Semoga nantinya bekal yang telah diperoleh pada diklat kali ini dapat diimplementasikan dalam rangka, kita sebagai pers kampus terus berusaha memutakhirkan penyajian berita agar dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap mahasiswa dan juga STAIN Majene”, jelasnya.
Ada beberapa materi yang disampaikan dalam diklat ini, di antaranya Reporter Live and Video Journalism oleh Muhtar lutfi, M.I.Kom., Menulis dan Editing Naskah Berita yang Menarik oleh Asdar Waris, SE.,MM.; materi terakhir Etika dan Perundang-undangan Pers oleh Budiman Imran, S. Sos. I., MM.
Selvi salah satu anggota Lima Sidik memberikan tanggapannya.
