Majene, Lima Sidik- Rumah Moderasi Beragama STAIN Majene bekerja sama dengan SEMA dan DEMA gelar diskusi kajian agama dan budaya dengan tema “Menghadapi Realitas” sekaligus launching pusat kajian moderasi beragama,” pada (07-12-23) di Aula Gedung Terpadu lantai lima STAIN Majene.
Muammar Zuhdi Arsalan selaku ketua panitia menyampaikan bahwa seringkali terjadi konflik antar agama dan cenderung berpotensial di kedepannya sehingga muncullah Rumah Moderasi Beragama yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan kehidupan agama yang rukun, harmonis, damai, dan adanya keseimbangan dalam keseluruhan aspek kehidupan. “Rumah Moderasi Beragama menggelar diskusi kajian ini sebagai salah satu upaya kami untuk mengaktifkan moderasi beragama di kabupaten Majene,” ucapnya.
Kemudian, Muammar juga menyebutkan bahwa pesertanya sekitar 100 mahasiswa perwakilan HMJ dan setiap kelas khusus semester satu karena disebutkan mereka belum mengenal Rumah Moderasi Beragama STAIN Majene.
Dalam sambutannya, Bahruddin selaku Kepala Rumah Moderasi Beragama menyampaikan bahwa kajian moderasi beragama tersebut adalah program kampus sebagai wadah untuk memberikan pemahaman agama secara internal pada mahasiswa demi membangun kerukunan beragama dalam masyarakat.
Kendati demikian, Ketua STAIN Majene dalam hal ini diwakili oleh WAKA III Bidang Kemahasiswaan dan Kerjasama, Anwar Sadat menyampaikan sambutan sekaligus membuka secara resmi acara tersebut.
