Majene – Lima Sidik. Modus penipuan kembali terjadi dibeberapa Mahasiswa, dengan berkedok meminta pulsa mengatasnamakan Dosen STAIN Majene pada Kamis, (18-11-23) pukul 07.53 WITA.
Salah satu Korban, mahasiswa Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam. Mengungkapkan ada nomor yang tidak dikenal mengaku sebagai salah satu dosen KPI dan mengirim pesan untuk meminta pulsa.
Ica yang menjadi target pelaku, ini awalnya meladeni pesan tersebut namun karena merasa curiga ia mengecek ke aplikasi pengecek nomor kontak yang kemudian terungkap bahwa nomor tersebut adalah penipu.
Untuk memastikan, Ica juga mengonfirmasi langsung ke dosen yang namanya dijadikan korban pencatutan Nama oleh pelaku penipuan.
“Tidak sempat saya kirim karena saya curiga mengingat beberapa waktu lalu juga banyak penipu dengan modus seperti ini,” ucap Ica, pada Kamis (18-11-23).
Dari kabar yang beredar, oknum penipu tidak hanya mengaku sebagai dosen KPI namun dari semua program studi, dan tidak sedikit mahasiswa yang menjadi korban atas penipuan ini.
Ica mengatakan agar lebih berhati-hati lagi terhadap kasus penipuan seperti ini agar tidak adanya lagi korban selanjutnya.
