Majene – Lima Sidik. Peresmian nama, logo baru serta website limasidik.com, Shiddiq News telah resmi berganti nama dan logo baru menjadi Lima Sidik serta launching website limasidik.com, dalam rangkaian kegiatan pelantikan para pengurus Organisasi Mahasiswa lingkup STAIN Majene periode 2022-2023 di Gedung Rektorat lantai I STAIN Majene pada Selasa,(26/04).
Peresmian logo dan nama baru ini dilaksanakan tepat setelah kegiatan pelantikan para pengurus Ormawa STAIN Majene. Peresmian disaksikan langsung oleh Ketua STAIN Majene, Prof. Dr.Wasilah Sahabudin, ST.,MT, Wakil Ketua III Dr.Anwar Sadat,S.Ag.,M.Ag, para Civitas Akademika STAIN Majene serta para pengurus Ormawa STAIN Majene. Dengan pemutaran video yang berisi tentang perubahan nama dan logo lama menjadi nama dan logo baru serta pengenalan website resmi Lima Sidik yakni limasidik.com.
Pergantian nama dan logo baru merupakan hasil kesepakatan dari pengurus pada periode sebelumnya. Alasan digantinya Nama dan logo yg baru ialah karena nama dan logo baru tersebut dipandang lebih kuat karakter dan relevan filosofinya.
Makna dari Nama dan Logo Baru yakni Lima Sidik, Yaitu
Mengacu kepada KBBI, kata “sidik” dapat berarti selidik/periksa, dapat juga berarti benar/jujur. Sedangkan kata “Lima” yang merupakan singkatan dari Lembaga Informasi Mahasiswa. Jika digabung, maka “Lima Sidik” merupakan sebuah lembaga informasi mahasiswa yang mengabarkan berita secara benar, jujur dan terpercaya.
Kemudian simbol atau logo dari Lima Sidik yang merupakan gabungan dari simbol Lup yang bermakna sebagai ketelitian, air bening sebagai kebenaran dan tanda centang sebagai kredibilitas/terpercaya. Lalu beragam warna dari logo yang merepresentasikan independensi dalam menyampaikan informasi, tidak terikat warna atau kepentingan tertentu.
Ketua Pers periode 2021-2022, Suandi Aziz yang hadir dalam peresmian logo dan nama baru mengungkapkan kebahagiaannya kepada Lima Sidik.
“Alhamdulillah saya ucapkan selamat kepada UKM Lima Sidik yang baru berganti nama, saya turut bahagia dan mengucapkan terima kasih atas launching nama dan logo baru. Saya rasa ini adalah kerja keras dari semua pihak, baik itu pengurus periode lama dan baru sehingga hal ini bisa terealisasikan dengan maksimal dan juga mendaptkan dukungan yang begitu besar dari pimpinan STAIN Majene,” ungkap Suandi Aziz.
Nirwan Wahyudi AR selaku pembina sekaligus pencetus ide nama dan logo baru tersebut berharap agar kedepannya Lima Sidik dapat menjadi lembagai informasi yang terpercaya.
“Sesuai tagline-nya, semoga Lima Sidik dapat memperkuat eksistensinya sebagai Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa yang terpercaya dalam mengabarkan informasi,” harapnya dalam wawancara via WhatsApp.
