Majene – Lima Sidik. Lembaga Penelitian Mahasiswa (LPM) Cendekia Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri (STAIN) Majene melakukan Kunjungan Pustaka ke Perpustakaan perpustakaan Univesitas Sulawesi Barat (Unsulbar) sebagai salah satu Program Kerja LPM Cendekia pada Jum’at, (22/09/2023).
Salah satu tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar para Anggota LPM Cendekia dapat meningkatkan literasinya sebagai seorang peneliti karena seorang peneliti wajib memiliki skill literasi yang baik dan rajin membaca.
Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan pengenalan prosedur-prosedur perpustakaan, tata letak ruangan perpustakaan, dan jumlah buku yang ada di perpustakaan serta sejarah dari perpustakaan Unsulbar.
Salah satu pengurus perpustakaan Unsulbar, Muhammad Mahdi memberikan motivasi kepada para anggota LPM Cendekia agar lebih semangat dalam membaca buku.”
Jadikan buku sebagai pedoman jalan hidupmu,” tuturnya saat menjelaskan terkait pengelolaan perpustakaan Unsulbar.
Ia menambahkan, “Mahasiswa harus rajin membaca karena salah satu sumber ilmu adalah buku. Terimakasih sudah berkunjung,” tutupnya.
Ketua LPM Cendekia, Baiq Sukma Widiawati menyampaikan kesannya mengikuti kegiatan ini.
“Kami belajar banyak dari kunjungan pustaka ke perpustakaan Unsulbar ini. Selain menambah wawasan tentang kepustakaan, kami juga mendapatkan kesan yang sangat waw mulai dari pelayanan sampai pada fasilitasnya yang oke, ini bisa menjadi contoh untuk perguruan tinggi lainnya di Sulbar khususnya,” ujarnya.
