Majene – Lima Sidik. Salah satu Dosen Prodi Komunikasi Penyiaran Islam (KPI) STAIN Majene berinisial MJ menjadi korban pencurian di rumahnya di Lingkungan Passarang, Kel. Totoli, Kec. Banggae, Kab. Majene pada Rabu, (19/07/2023).
Pelaku melancarkan aksi pada sekitar pukul 04.15 WITA. Saat itu, korban dalam keadaan tertidur bersama kedua anaknya di dalam kamar. Ia terbangun karena mendengar sesuatu dan saat itu ia melihat ada seorang lelaki yang tak dikenal memakai celana pendek dan menutupi wajah dengan sarung bermotif kotak-kotak. Selain itu, pelaku juga memiliki postur tubuh sedang, tidak gemuk dan tidak kurus.
Korban kaget dan bertanya “Siapa itu?” namun pelaku berhasil melarikan diri.
Korban sempat mengejarnya hingga keluar rumah dan berteriak hingga tetangga datang namun pelaku berhasil melarikan diri.
Setelah itu, korban kembali masuk ke dalam rumah untuk mengecek dompetnya namun ia menyadari bahwa sejumlah uang telah hilang.
Korban merasa heran mengapa pelaku bisa memasuki rumahnya. Padahal menurutnya tidak ada kerusakan baik di pintu ataupun jendela rumah akibat pembobolan dan ia mengatakan bahwa pintu rumah terkunci.
Hingga saat ini, polisi belum bisa menangkap pelaku dan masih mengusut siapa dalang dibalik aksi pencurian tersebut. Dan lagi, ciri-ciri dari pelaku pencurian dan pelecehan mahasiswi di indekos memiliki kemiripan sehingga menambah resah masyarakat setempat.
Korban berharap agar pelaku dapat segera ditangkap dan diberi hukuman agar tidak ada lagi korban selanjutnya.
“Saya merasa Majene saat ini sudah tidak aman? Saya berharap pihak kepolisian bisa segera menangkap pelaku agar tidak meresahkan masyarakat dan tidak ada lagi korban selanjutnya,” harapnya.
